Dr. Frank Brettschneider earned a pharmacy degree from the Ferris State University College of Pharmacy in Big Rapids, Michigan, graduating as class valedictorian. He then enrolled at Michigan State University to pursue a medical degree in osteopathy. After he earned his DO in 1985, graduating in the top 5 percent of his class, Dr. Brettschneider completed a one-year American Osteopathic Association General Internship at Mt. Clemens General Hospital, an affiliate of Michigan State University. Dr. Brettschneider subsequently chose to remain with Mt. Clements General Hospital and began studying otolaryngology and orofacial plastic surgery.

Upon completion of his residency four years later, in 1990, Dr. Frank Brettschneider entered private practice and opened Port Huron E.N.T., located at 1522 Pine Grove Ave. His practice offers adult and pediatric care for a wide variety of ailments of the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. In addition to addressing medical problems with surgical and nonsurgical methods, Dr. Brettschneider also performs a wide variety of cosmetic procedures, such as blepharoplasties, cervical liposuction, brow lifts, facelifts, and laser hair removal. Dr. Brettschneider additionally offers a number of cosmetic therapies using injectable substances such as collagen, Botox, and Juvaderm.

Holding board certification in otolaryngology, orofacial plastic surgery, and otolaryngic allergy, Dr. Frank Brettschneider treats patients at his Port Huron office Monday through Friday. He contributes to the People's Clinic for Better Health, a project largely supported by the St. Joseph Mercy Health System, one of the three health systems with which he is affiliated. He supports a number of other organizations as well, among which are the Boy Scouts of America and United Way.
